Terms of Service
Terms governing the use of Hadem's website and digital services.
Payment
Payment terms, schedules and methods are specified in individual service agreements. Development fees, domain, hosting, email and maintenance costs are itemised separately.
Deliverables
Deliverables are defined in the selected package or service agreement. Delivery timelines depend on the client providing complete and approved content.
Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate, lawful content
- Respond to requests for information within agreed timeframes
- Approve work before publication
- Pay invoices according to the agreed schedule
Domain ownership
Domains are registered in the client's organisation name. The client receives all relevant credentials. Transfer is available subject to settled invoices and the service agreement.
Hosting and renewals
Hosting, domain and email services require annual renewal. We send reminders before expiry. Failure to renew may result in service suspension.
Intellectual property
Client content remains the client's property. Website templates and configurations developed by Hadem are licensed according to the service agreement.
Acceptable use
Clients must not use our hosting for fraud, misinformation, hate content, malware, unlawful fundraising, impersonation, copyright infringement, or unauthorised publication of personal information.
Liability
Hadem does not guarantee funding, regulatory approval or donor acceptance. We do not provide legal or audit certification unless specifically qualified to do so.
Disputes
Disputes will be handled through good-faith negotiation. Applicable law is the law of Uganda.
